My day was considerably brightened up by Cool Blue Halo's Kangaroo album. Was a big fan of the three singles I had heard off this album, but now I see why this album was generally touted as a lost classic of "the Halifax is the new Seattle" days. Truly the Forever Changes of that period. Nothing more than power pop, but boy is it sure good power pop!
